Blue Range Wolf Recovery Area

This prime habitat for Mexican gray wolves is known as the Blue Range Wolf Recovery Area (BRWRA). Towering pines and aspen trees frequent the region, with high alpine meadows topping over ten thousand feet elevation, down to sagebrush and prairie at four thousand feet elevation. These photos were taken near Alpine, near the Hawks Nest Pack Territory.
